You and yours are cordially invited to join us for our 2025 edition of Vacation Bible School. While the AnswersVBS Wonder Junction theme is popular this year, the train track literally runs right by Sophia.
Dinner Served Nightly
We know that a hard day on the range can work up an appetite and it can be tough to find fuel between stops. But don’t worry, the chuck wagon will be fired up and ready to feed you and your cowpokes each night at 5 PM. And don’t worry, there’s no charge. So come on down a little early and dig into some mighty fine vittles before things get started
What to Expect
At Sophia, we are gonna have the the rootin’est tootin’est time that’s ever been had in the West or East! We are gonna sing LOUD! We are gonna teach the Bible with passion and depth — and that includes an adult class. We are gonna play so hard, you are gonna wanna bed down just as soon as you get back to your tent. But you are gonna wake up the next day wanting to do it all again.
Your Safety is Our Top Priority
While you are with us, your safety is our highest concern. All of our farm-hands have undergone extensive vetting and background checks to make sure that your little ones are in good hands. Our dedicated security team has one job: to make sure that everyone is as safe as a possum on his momma’s back. Our check-in/check-out policy will ensure that your cowboys and cowgirls get in the right wagon when the night is winding down.
What’s The Goal?
This part’s easy. We wanna glorify our great God and Savior Jesus Christ by makin’ disciples. That’s the goal. We are gonna share the gospel of Christ unashamedly and full-throatedly. We shoot straight; no sugarcoating it. No apologies offered.
We do have one more goal, but it’s a little bit of a secret so don’t tell nobody. We want to make everyone feel so welcomed and so right at home that anyone who doesn’t have a good church home will consider joining up with our wagon train on Sundays and Wednesdays.
